Tigris Argentum is an acoustic, industrial DIY project that was created in the late summer 2017 to explore metal as a medium for sound wave transmission. It combines physics and mathematics with a thousand-year-old, albeit modified, gong techniques and obsession with a sound that can be heard, felt and perceived as naturally as the sound of a stream in a forest. It works with the idea that there are no scales in the real world, only the interplay of phenomena around us that give rise to a perfect structure, a perfect system / nonlinear chaos.
Tigris Argentum is a two-member team consisting of members – Figur von Molitan that specializes in playing techniques, and Skinny Boyfriend that specializes in production.
