Liza Gennart is an experimental poetic project by programmer Ľubomír Panák and poet Zuzana Husárová. It is a neural network writing poetry, which was published in 2020 in the book Results of the Origin (Výsledky vzniku) by Vlna / Drewo a srd. Thanks to the GPT-2 language model through which she creates, she has learned language patterns that she tries to replicate or approximate as accurately as possible. She is “trained” on a literary database, which consists of more than 2,000 (mostly poetic) titles from catalogs of domestic publishers of contemporary poetry, contemporary art magazines and some relevant works from the Zlatý fond of the daily Sme (the largest electronic library of Slovak literature).
