Slovak conceptual artist, visual artist, musician, author of visual poetry, composer and musicologist. He devoted himself to visual poetry, graphic scores, performance, experimental composition. In 1989, he co-founded the avantgarde ensemble Transmusic comp. which, in addition to a number of performances in Slovakia, had also played abroad. His works have been exhibited and performed around the world, from Tokyo to New York. In recent years, he has lived and worked in the villages of Podhorie and Banská Belá in the district of Banská Štiavnica. He died at the beginning of 2017. A few months later, his long-prepared cross-sectional exhibition Adamčiak, Begin! was opened at the Slovak National Gallery.
