Celestína Minichová will present a new spatial sound installation with performative potential titled Networking, No Strings Attached at JAMA 78. The “skeleton” is ready. The individual acting alone is the master of their own domain. They are responsible for it, shaping it to their own image, pouring everything into it. But what happens when we create together? What can emerge from the collaboration of multiple present individuals?

Networking, No Strings Attached explores the collective creation of soundscapes. It is a collective effort to create the environment that surrounds us. Each person is responsible for themselves as well as for others. What sound envelope will envelop us? What will grow from this group creation? We can observe the situation without direct participation, but we can also enter it emotionally or consciously. The question remains whether we will become closer or perhaps more distant.

Celestína Minichová is an art student interested in working with the body in space, as well as various forms of language and their possible intermedial intersections and overlaps. She aims to materialize the ideas she works with, placing her own and others’ bodies into tangible forms. She views the materials she uses in her work as independent entities with their own stories, which she listens to with fascination. She creates objects and site-specific installations, with which she subsequently engages in performative dialogues. She is fascinated by poetics and associative imagery.

LANGUAGE: NO LANGUAGE BARRIER
