Peter Graham (Jaroslav Šťastný) has been among budding composers for over fifty years. Throughout this time, he successfully resisted mastering the craft of music, the principles of correct composition, and creating his own style. Instead, he settles for a simple sound, and in recent years has tried (following the example of Brahms) to create music completely without an idea. Performances of his compositions are thus dependent not only on the performers but also on the listeners – it depends on them whether they find something in it.
