During the whole JAMA at locusonus.org/soundmap/

VilaBela, a small family homestead on the outskirts of Banská Belá, becomes one of the locations for JAMA 78 this year. Additionally, its sound will become part of the global network of acoustic transmissions, Locustream, during JAMA.
You can hear the landscape here, the nearby road—the main route connecting the highway to Banská Štiavnica—children playing, and occasionally the sounds of domestic animals: pigs, goats, and cats. On Saturday evening, the sound will change with the bustle of JAMA 78 visitors arriving at VilaBela from an all-day hike, along with evening interventions and performances in the barn at VilaBela.
The limited-time transmission will run from Friday, October 11 to Sunday, October 13, enabled by a streambox provided by the British Soundtent cooperative and it can be listened to on this link: https://locus.creacast.com:9443/stream_031.mp3
The Locustream project, designed by Locus Sonus research group, hosted by the Aix en Provence School of Art (l’École supérieure d’art d’Aix en Provence Félix Ciccolini), offers internet users the possibility of listening to live sounds coming from hundreds of microphones placed around the world by the various participants in the project. These sounds are made available via interactive map.
Soundcamp are an arts cooperative based at Stave Hill Ecological Park in Rotherhithe. We work on transmission ecologies from DIY broadcasting devices to public sound and radio projects. As part of the Acoustic Commons network, we coordinate the long-form radio broadcast Reveil (2014—), and a series of sound and ecology events (soundcamps) on Dawn Chorus day each year.
